Thanks for stopping-by to hear a little about my journey as an artist so far :)

Working from my studio and home in South East Kent, I enjoy creating artworks using mixed media to enrich the stories I like to tell through paint and canvas. I love incorporating texture with modelling paste and thick mediums, with versatility by combining acrylic paint, inks and spray paints, often layering oil paint onto acrylic bases for richness and depth. My painting often have a soft, dream-like, feminine quality and I like to use a muted colour palette, more often than not with touches of metallic. I work back and forth with light and dark, knife work and brush strokes, softening with all manner of tools such as cotton wool and sponges as I like to have parts out of focus and others that are sharp and textured.

I studied up to Foundation Level Art in Manchester before taking an academic route at university, circling back to my artistic passions a little later. I began earning money from my artwork through pet portrait commissions 6 years ago and although I cherish every portrait I completed for my lovely customers I felt that by artistic journey lay on a different path.

In 2024 I decided to open a pop-up art gallery in my local village to be in control of selling my work, and things really began to take-off. Within 6 months I sold 49 of my own pieces of original artwork through the pop-up, not including online sales, which far exceeded my expectations. I also sold artwork internationally, as far away as the US and Taiwan.

As well as continuing with the pop-up gallery this year I have several other art projects and platforms I’m developing which i’ll say a little more about once they launch. I took part 5 exhibitions across the South of England, from Chichester to Canterbury. Currently, I have artworks in two other galleries in Folkestone and Hythe. I am honoured to include legendary actress Pam Ferris among my collectors.
